The Gap Is Denim Obsessed
by The Hairpin Sponsors
There’s a random warehouse somewhere on West Pico Blvd, just west of downtown LA, where a group of creative and likeminded people have come to reinvent the 1969 line for Gap, a company previously most known for people in khakis dancing around a white room to swing music. (Remember when swing music was a thing? That was weird.)
In this warehouse there’s cool people doing cool things in a cool looking space. This very atmosphere is what creates the laid-back, but still, from a fashion perspective, very forward but classic, attitude that permeates through the entire Gap 1969 line. You know, like those people who you see who seem to have it all together, all while looking like they’re not trying.
