It’s a Girl, My Lord, in a Flatbed Ford

Hey, you know how there’s that stanza in the Eagles’ “Take it Easy” about Winslow, Arizona? You probably do, if you know all the words, which, um, why should you? Lame.

Well, Winslow feels pretty strongly about that song too, so if you happen to be in the area on Sept. 28th and 29th (plan early!), you can enjoy the “Standin’ On The Corner Festival”. Next to the (awesome) mural with the fake reflection of the girl in the car.

And, of course, if you have any embarrassing easy-listening preferences for 1970s singer-songwriters, don’t leave a girl hanging.
