Getting On With Things

The New York Times, whether intentionally or not, is trying to make you think seriously about the nature of life, and fate, and how to be a good person, and so on, by telling stories about two different impulsive acts, and then how things unfolded afterwards. One of the acts being horrible, and one being wonderful.*
