Is There Something We Can Learn From This Goat in a Palm Tree?
A goat climbed a palm tree, allegedly.
Berthold Auerbach said, “Years teach us more than books.” But what about goats? And, to be more specific, what about goats in a palm tree?
Socrates allegedly said something along the lines of, “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” But what if you do know at least one thing and it’s that you saw a video of a goat in a palm tree?
Michael Jordan said, “If you’re trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I’ve had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”
Was he talking about this goat?
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
Was he talking about this goat?
David Foster Wallace said, “this is water,” and also, “grocery store.” Or actually I just checked and he said, “supermarket.”
Hm?
It’s an interesting thought experiment.
