The Chieftains (and, Elsewhere, Nicki Minaj)
Fans of traditional Irish music and/or indie rock are probably already aware of the Chieftains’ big upcoming collaboration album Voice of Ages (due out February 21), but if anyone isn’t and would like to be, Rolling Stone has a stream of their jaunty Bob Dylan cover, “When the Ship Comes In,” featuring The Decemberists, and Bon Iver and The Civil Wars make appearances, too.
Sadly Unrelated: Nicki Minaj’s [tagged] new slow jam, “Marilyn Monroe.” (No Nicki Minaj/Chieftains collaborations have yet been scheduled.)
