Fun With Ink Cartridges

A Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center employee who made $37,000 a year at his job was arraigned today for banking around $3.8 million by ordering toner ink cartridges to be sent to his employer in bulk, diverting the deliveries, then selling the cartridges. The man was delighted to find that this afforded him “a luxury lifestyle,” reports the Wall Street Journal, “complete with an apartment at a Trump high-rise, a BMW vehicle and a checking account padded with tens of thousands of dollars.” His scheme went on FOR SIX YEARS.
