BirthOrNot Folks Are, Yes, Having That Baby

BirthOrNot.com, a couple’s blog about whether to have a baby or have an abortion, was declared the other week to be a hoax, in the sense that the couple never seemed to actually be considering having an abortion. But the husband, Pete Arnold, says his wife Alisha was considering an abortion, partly because she’d suffered from two miscarriages in the past and didn’t feel up to going through the process again. Mr. Arnold says the media wasn’t really covering her side of the story. Anyway, they’ve decided to go ahead with the pregnancy — people overwhelmingly voted in favor of them doing so — but Arnold now admits that the blog did “minimalize in some regards the whole choice thing.”
