— In an interesting move, Greenpeace advocates dressed up as Ken dolls to protest Mattel’s doll packaging, which they believe comes from Indonesian rainforests. “Barbie is trashing rainforests and pushing critically-endangered wildlife, like tigers, toward extinction,” said a Greenpeace exec. “Mattel, which makes Barbie, must stop wrapping the world’s most famous toy in rainforest destruction.” Et tu, Ken? You come in an organic plastic bag now?
