The Girl Beer, Part Two: Animée
For the Hairpin’s first-ever post about alcohol, how about this new Animée beer, a female-friendly, low-calorie lager from Molson Coors that comes in “clear filtered,” “crisp rosé,” and “zesty lemon”? (It’ll go on sale in the U.K. later this fall.) Add Animée to that lady Carlsberg beer, cupcake vodka, and our own beloved Qream, and now we can finally throw a party. Also Animée’s bottles are pretty, so you could probably get away with drinking it on the street.
