The History of the Tiny House
Alec Wilkinson at the New Yorker takes on the recent-ish tiny-house phenomenon, which is itself still pretty tiny, and the main takeaways are that tiny-house people are a tiny-to-moderate bit nuts, tiny houses are tricky because they’re mostly illegal, and no one really wants to sleep with someone who lives in a tiny house. (Nowhere does he mention the legendary commercial, though, which is a shame. [“Are you kidding me?!”])
The article also scatters these gifts: a Tiny House Design blog; Resources for Life, another tiny house blog; and, of course, the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. Tiny house!
