Chic Fall Basics

Your guide for fall.

When you’re talking fall, it’s all about basics. Whether it’s your basic one thing or your basic another, it’s all about basics, like I said, when you’re talking fall. You may have seen other publications advertising chic fall basics in certain price ranges, for example “under $500,” which maybe you think means cumulative, as in, the entire fall wardrobe of basics is under $500, which still seems like a lot, but actually it means specific pieces, as in, there is a white t-shirt that costs $320. This one is that, too.

T-Shirt With a Leaf on It

Whoever said a basic can’t be stunning? “T-shirt with a leaf on it” is a classic fall style that you can find in almost any store, but that doesn’t mean you should add just any t-shirt with a leaf on it to your wardrobe. This one here is very good.

Pumpkin Purse

“Who’s that lady with the pumpkin purse? It’s me! … It’s me!” Maybe you can sing a song like this while toting around your chic pumpkin purse this fall. Orange and round, heavy and solid, this pumpkin purse is a must-have upgrade on the classic basic for every wardrobe this fall.

Rake

It doesn’t get more fall than a white t-shirt paired with a rake. How much do rakes cost? I would guess $13, and for $13 you won’t find a better fall accessory than this rake. Worried you’ll be asked to rake things if things need raking, while carrying your new rake? Well, that is something to worry about, yes.

Pumpkin Hat

“Who’s that lady with the pumpkin hat? It’s me! … It’s me!” Maybe you can sing a song like this while wearing your chic pumpkin hat this fall. Orange and round, heavy and solid, this pumpkin hat is a must-have upgrade on the classic basic for every wardrobe this fall.

Leaf

The classic leaf, tinted autumn colors for fall. Does it get much better? There are so many ways to wear the leaf.

Little Pants and Then the Top Is a Pumpkin

Oh, yes. Isn’t it time you threw out your old little pants and then the top is a pumpkin and invested in a version that will last you years to come? It may seem like a lot to spend now but trust us — it’ll be worth it. You’ve got to consider price-per-wear when buying staples like this even if they are seas0n-specific.

Leaf Shoes

Ooh lala. Table for one, and the one is Carrie Bradshaw, anyone? Everybody loves crunching leaves underfoot, but that doesn’t mean your leaf shoes can’t be special. These sexy babies are “falling” off of shelves, if you understand our joke.

Tree

Oh, mama. You know how when the trees are pink? That’s nice, but this is nice too — when the trees are fall colors. The tree is approximately 6′ tall and you hold it in front of you like a dress, or pants and a shirt. To cover your butt you can use a leaf or, for the more daring, use nothing at all.

That’s enough, the end.
