The band is on a break, but the boys aren’t.

One Direction last performed together on a Sunday night, Dec. 13th, 2015, on the season finale of the British iteration of “The X Factor.” They sang a single from their fifth album, accepted accolades from Simon Cowell and others, and then vanished into the night to begin a hiatus with no end-date. Between them, in the months since they last took the stage, they have officially announced very little — a solo record deal, the birth of a child, the founding of a golf management company. But each week they are out in the world, doing things, going places. This is what we know.

Monday Niall Horan attended a taping of the Late Late Show with several Irish friends. They took a photo on-set, four to a couch. (One Direction appeared on the show, four to a couch, on May 15, 2015.) On Tuesday, he flew to Nashville. Thursday he saw the Lumineers in concert; Friday he saw Kanye West. The Ryder Cup, for which Horan is an ambassador, posted a video of Horan pledging support for Team Europe. In the video, Horan praises the camaraderie of the tournament. “I can understand it from being in the band,” he says “The brotherhood, the friendships …”

Tuesday Liam Payne posted a pic from the Capitol Records building, writing “the view from the office today.” He has presumably been working on his solo album; collaborators include singer, songwriter, and producer Charlie Wilson. He later posted a selfie with girlfriend Cheryl Ann Tweedy Cole Fernandez-Versini; both are wearing mud masks. “I miss you!…the things you make me do … home soon!” he wrote. He flew to London on Sunday.

Louis Tomlinson was not spotted out this week, though members of the girl band he has allegedly been working with all posted a group photo with him.

Harry Styles has not been seen in public in 22 days. On Sunday at 10:25 GMT, he broke a three-month Instagram silence by posting three blank photos in a row. On Monday at 19:00 GMT, he posted three separate covers of Another Man magazine, each featuring his face. The issue, which includes photos by Willy Vanderperre, Ryan McGinley, and Alasdair McLellan, an interview conducted Paul McCartney and Chelsea Handler, and a “special document curated by Harry,” will be released Sept. 29. It is Styles’ first solo magazine cover.

Jeff Azoff, friend and manager of Harry Styles, toasted client Meghan Trainor on the occasion of the last concert of her tour. “When I first met this girl, she walked in, said her favorite artist was T-Pain,” he said in a speech posted to Trainor’s Snapchat. “Yes it is, still,” she said.

A member of the band Kings of Leon admitted to Beats One DJ Zane Lowe that he stole a guitar from Harry Styles. “It’s the one that says Harry on it,” he said.
