One Direction last performed together on a Sunday night, Dec. 13th, 2015, on the season finale of the British iteration of “The X Factor.” They sang a single from their fifth album, accepted accolades from Simon Cowell and others, and then vanished into the night to begin a hiatus with no end-date. Between them, in the months since they last took the stage, they have officially announced very little — a solo record deal, the birth of a child, the founding of a golf management company. But each week they are out in the world, doing things, going places. This is what we know.

Harry Styles is in Los Angeles for the final weeks of filming for Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan’s World War II epic. On Friday he went to Cafe Habana, Rande Gerber’s restaurant in Malibu, with Meredith Winston, wife of longtime One Direction music video producer and Late Late Show executive producer Ben Winston. Styles wore a 2016 Fall/Winter Prada blouse with writhing bodies printed on it, including a woman in a floral frock, a man in a dragon mask, and soldier in a pin-up pose. His hair is still short.

Louis Tomlinson flew to London last Sunday after seeing Hamilton in New York with girlfriend Danielle Campbell. “Always soooooo nice to be back in England .. How I’ve missed you !” he tweeted. Wednesday night he was photographed at Cirque le Soir, the Soho nightclub, with Campbell, his sister Lottie Tomlinson, and several longtime members of his entourage. He later flew to Ibiza where he was spotted smoking and listening to DJ Craig David. “He declined all photos except for a hen party who kept on begging him until he gave in and went ‘oh go on then,’” a source told The Sun. “After seeing their success, a man tried his luck but when Louis politely declined he got rather grumpy. Louis responded by saying ‘get some better shorts. Those ones are shit!’”

Niall Horan went on a hike in LA. He wore no shirt.

Liam Payne, nearly one month after announcing a solo deal with Capitol Records, created a verified Spotify account under his own name. The account features two playlists, “EVRBDY” and “Karen Harding,” both empty. He was not spotted out last week, but did thank fans on Instagram and Twitter for a fundraiser and a worldwide Twitter trend in honor of his birthday. He turns 23 today.

Ben Winston was the guest on this week’s episode of LA Clippers shooting guard JJ Redick’s podcast, The Vertical. At 1:06:02, Redick recounted attending a recent Shabbat dinner at Winston’s Brentwood home with Harry Styles. Redick said Styles had “such a good head on his shoulders.” Winston concurred, saying, “he’s phenomenal boy.”

At an event in New York to debut his new fragrance, By Invitation, Michael Bublé revealed that a song on his new album was written by Styles and Meghan Trainor. “He’s an incredible writer,” Trainor said of Styles in an interview on Capital FM last year. “I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy. So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.’”

BBC Radio 1 DJ and friend of Styles Nick Grimshaw tipped over his Mercedes SUV in an effort avoid hitting a ginger cat. “Cat’s fine,” Grimshaw said the next day on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show. “The cat sat there for the full two hours while I was out in the street. Cat met the police, cat met the fire brigade, cat watched me make a call to my insurance to organize someone to pick it up. Cat’s fine.”
