Are You Clenching Your Jaw?

Yes.

I’ve been clenching my jaw a lot during the day lately. More than normal. Have you? If you’re my friend Jordan, you have, too. If you’re my friend Leah, you wrote about this one time already. If you’re a friend I haven’t met yet, what’s your name? That’s pretty. Have you been clenching your jaw more during the day now? 🙁 Oh no.

I asked Jordan what he does to not clench his jaw and he told me this:

if i feel myself doing it i bite my bottom lip

Interesting.

I googled “how to remember to unclench your jaw” and it led me to this blog post, the lede of which offers this: “How can you look sexy, happy and irresistible if your face is tense? Learn how to relax your jaws…”

Good question and I’m intrigued.

It says to do this: put your tongue to the highest point of your mouth; press the point “located at the junction of the thumb and forefinger bones”; clench and relax your jaw a couple times at night. OK. None of that helps, really. So far the thing that has helped me the most is Jordan’s dumb thing. I’ve also developed my own method that I highly suggest you attempt:
