The British inventor James Dyson, better known as the sleek-vacuum-cleaner guy, who is also a billionaire and a “Sir” in England, has just announced that he is going to disrupt hair dryers. As you might expect, the thing looks like a shrunken-down version of Dyson’s bladeless fan (you can look through the hole in the middle!). The motor is smaller and lighter and has been incorporated into the handle so that you don’t have that top-heavy effect that makes your arms ache (though if we’re being honest I didn’t mind that because I was hoping it counted as a bicep workout!).
