The Great Gingerbread Baking Contest
Behold the results of the 23rd annual National Gingerbread House Competition, held on Monday in Asheville, North Carolina [via NYTNow]. The display opens to the public starting today (and closes Jan. 3), although there’s also a gingerbread hotline, (800) 413–5778, which I called and learned that people not staying at the resort are invited to view the houses starting Sunday afternoon.
