The Week of September 7 — September 11
So, we made it past Labor Day. Congrats!! I’m proud of us. To celebrate, I’m taking my white shoes out for a walk while blasting some of the music Alex may or may not play for her future kids. For advice — seasonal or otherwise — we’ve got a lot of good options this week: A Queer Chick, Baba Yaga, and Wendy always know just what to do.
Jane convinced us that JoJo matters, Marie took care of our Frito boat needs, and I talked a little about one of my favorite artists, Ana Mendieta. Alex reminded us of Reluctant Heroes, a feminist magazine for teens, and The Warriors, which we should probably watch this weekend. We drank a big cup of male tears and starting planning our Spring 2016 look. Oh, and you know your fave? They’re evil.
I hope your first post-Labor Day weekend is as chill as this dog with sunglasses. See you on Monday.
