Elza Soares, “Amor Perfeito”
by Alexandra Molotkow
In May, Haley and I stayed in South Williamsburg right under the train tracks, and when the trains crossed at a particular time over one particular corner it reminded me of a rhythm I couldn’t place. Well, it was THIS! And when I realized I just about set up a folding chair to listen for it. I’m so glad there’s a sound in *nature* to replicate the sound of this song, because it’s too big for earbuds or even bluetooth speakers, it belongs in the air!
