You Can Get Ta-Nehisi Coates’s “Between the World and Me” by Next Week!
Major (unoriginal) argument in Between The World And Me is that the soul IS the body. the mind IS the body. Or maybe part of, not sure.

If you don’t work in book publishing — and bless you if you do, because we know your days are full of agony and compromise — you may not know that publishing a book takes unnecessary years. This is ostensibly because of supply chains and long-lead press and catalogues and all that jazz, but mostly it’s just a sign of an industry trapped between failing past strategies and horrifying future scenarios. But good news! Publishing has Learned A Lesson and Random House will be moving up the publication date on the new book by Ta-Nehisi Coates, Between the World and Me, which isn’t really a great title for me (SORRY) but is supposed to be terrific and the title doesn’t matter anyway. You can preorder it here! And it’ll be in your hot little hands in like a week!
