I know it’s an obvious choice, but what I really love about this song is the level of detail. “And you wear that cute miniskirt with your brother’s sloppy shirt.” He’s so attentive! Also there aren’t that many songs that get this deep into the importance of style to attraction. Or they do but in a way that’s way too on-the-nose. Oooh, she wore red! Way to really see her. I bet anything that black dress was a skirt.
