Ask Baba Yaga: What If The Person I Love Doesn’t Want To Marry Me?
Transcript after the jump.
Dear Baba Yaga,
The person I live with, love, and want to marry says he loves me, but doesn’t want to get married. I don’t know if I’m more of a fool to stay with someone who won’t honor me with a permanent commitment or to place so much weight on a promise that, after all, is not any assurance of future happiness or stability. If everything else is good, why does this feel so important?
BABA YAGA:
A door stands alone in the forest. )Once you walk through & swing its hinges, you enter into the same woods as before. But for some the walking through holds magic ; for some it is a strange & needless task. In truth, there are many mysterious doors & tunnels in the forest. Would you not wish to travel with someone who feels the same pull towards such portals?
