Ryn Weaver, “OctaHate”

I’m back! Because of July 4th this shall be a short week filled with many good things, starting with this debut track from Ryn Weaver, which was co-written by Charli XCX and produced by Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat and Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos; it’s as full of finger-snap sugar and synth as that team would suggest, and Weaver is a nimble, gorgeous vocalist.
