Kyla La Grange, “Cut Your Teeth”

You might remember British singer-songwriter Kyla La Grange from some hit-or-miss stuff, maybe? Her goth-folk, Tori Amos-meets-Ellie Goulding vibes have been smothered by overproduction in the past, but this latest single, produced by Jakwob, is really nice: minimal, ghostly, a terrifically ’90s melody on the chorus, and now this cool neon video.

Also in music-related news: Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are doing the score for Gone Girl, which has turned me around the corner from indifference to definitely going to see it.
