A Lioness in the Smithsonian Zoo Nurses Her Cubs in a Tiny Room
This video of a Smithsonian Zoo lioness nursing her cubs in a very small space under CCTV is cool and beautiful and somehow really sad, even though I am trying to remind myself of utilitarian things like the fact that cubs born in captivity have more than double the survival rate of cubs born in the wild. Here is another interesting lion fact: without their coats, their bodies are virtually indistinguishable from the bodies of tigers.
