Trigger Warning Non-Beyonce Post: Here’s a Playlist of All the New Music We’ve Posted This Year

This list is not fancy, just a straight compilation of stuff that Emma and I’ve posted under New Music in the last six or seven months.

We were going to write something about it — without consciously trying to put female-fronted stuff up here, we ended up with a list of 55 songs in which 45 feature female vocalists — but Beyday has rendered any of our possible musical recap of 2013 irrelevant. Hope you guys find this enjoyable for work or the weekend: as my absolute derangement right now might evince for you, getting to do music on this site is one of my favorite, most consistently pleasurable and positive parts of the job.
