Mononoke, “Alice”

Via Neon Gold, here’s a beautiful song from a few weeks ago, by a British singer/songwriter who goes by the name of Mononoke. “Alice” is delicate and intelligent, giving off a sort of London Grammar/Tori Amos thing, with a hint of Lorde’s bedroom-pop haunting in its production: bonus is this great video, a compilation of scenes from the 1903 Alice In Wonderland silent film.
