London Grammar, “Nightcall” (Kavinsky Cover)

You guys remember that incredible, Death Star-in-the-club Kavinsky song from the Drive soundtrack; this cover by London Grammar is fluid, slightly operatic, and really lovely, with singer Hannah Reid sounding as impressive as ever. It also reminds me of Flight Facilities’ “Clair De Lune,” which was one of my very favorite late-night work songs last year:

Also good today: the new single by Erik Hassle. Less good, for obvious thematic reasons: this Rick Ross remix of “Royals.”
