After Jia posted about the white b-girls last week, I found myself googling Alyson Stoner, the girl who used to steal the show in all the Missy Elliott videos — you know the one — and was faced with the startling realization that she did not exist in an internet vacuum and had aged some 10 years in the past, well, 10 years. I am writing all of this down here so that I can return to it when B-Girl Terra’s first album drops a decade from now.
