Sam Smith, “Nirvana”

Here is a lovely, soaring single from the British singer-songwriter Sam Smith, who also appeared on Disclosure’s “Latch” back in December. Smith released “Safe With Me” last month, and it looks like he’s putting together the work for a full-length album, which would be fine by me.

Elsewhere: Tegan and Sara joined Taylor Swift onstage in Los Angeles and they sang “Closer” together. Somehow, life continues.
