Purity Ring, “Amenamy (Jon Hopkins Remix)”

Purity Ring’s ghost-glittery electropop album Shrines was a 2012 mainstay for me, and this lush, ambient remix from Jon Hopkins takes the skitter out of the original “Amenamy” and lets the vocals twinkle over the tug of deep bass and the current of an added piano melody. If you like Purity Ring and happened to miss their cover of Soulja Boy’s “Grammy,” now’s as good a time as any to bring it up.
