Good morning! This is the way the week starts, not with a bang (or coverage of an unwitting English bambino) but a stutter. Here are three not-new, not-old songs, each with a looped, reiterated element that I find sort of irresistible: the chopped and haunted doo-wop vocal on the first one from SOHN, the kitteny “everybody knows it” on the Cashmere remix of LDR, and the payoff-delaying verse repetition on Foster The People-meets-Passion Pit act Magic Man’s take on San Fermin’s fairly perfect “Sonsick.”
