Volcano Choir — “Byegone”

Justin Vernon’s back! Not as Bon Iver, but as Volcano Choir, his experimental pop collaboration with Wisconsin “post-rock” band Collections of Colonies of Bees. This new single “Byegone” brims with the austere, vast triumphalism that’s become one of Vernon’s trademarks — it’s lovely.
