Is Your Voice Ruining Your Life?

The sound of a speaker’s voice matters twice as much as the content of the message

Okay, I’ve been sitting on an idea for years or possibly months in hopes of instantly turning it into a trillion dollars, but I guess I’ll give it away for free, now, today: Dating sites should add little SoundCloud-type widgets to users’ profiles so everyone can hear one another’s voices. No one would even have to say anything particularly interesting, just count to 10. And there would be interns or bots to make sure everyone really was only counting to 10, so it wouldn’t be like some nervewracking new variable where you had to tell a joke or something. And then no one would be startled by anyone’s voice if/when they meet in person. Plus it could make things more 3D-feeling, possibly.
