For an upbeat start to the day, here’s Mary J. and Jermaine Dupri covering Arrested Development’s Sly and the Family Stone pseudo-cover. They never hit the expected hook, but if you let that go, it’s great. (Here’s the original, if you want to scratch that itch.) The song will appear on her upcoming album, My Life II … The Journey Continues (Act 2).
