Django Django, ‘Django Django’

NPR is currently streaming the debut album from Scottish “psychedelic quartet” Django Django. The album is also called Django Django, and NPR describes it as a mix of “surf-rock, Motown, blues, cosmic space-pop and even Egyptian music.” If you live in the U.K., where the album came out in January, or on the internet, where everything is always out, this is likely old news. But if not, it’s a neat listen, and the album will be out officially in the U.S. on August 14.
