Letters to the Editor of This Preteen Magazine
Ah, the time has come once again to check in with this January, 1964 issue of Calling All Girls. In 1964, preteen girls liked fashions and sewing and recipes, but they didn’t like stories. Wait, no, a few of them did like stories, and crossword puzzles. In fact, if crosswords puzzles were all that was left on Earth, that would be fine for them. And pen pals! Party planning articles? Not so much. In their own words after the jump. (How stoked was Nanette to see they granted her parting wish!?)
