A Little Perspective on the Universe

My dad called the other day with some encouraging words: it might be okay to have babies now because they’re finding plenty of planets outside our solar system that could potentially support life. Then he added, “they’re not sending out any blips though, so that’s discouraging.” For REAL, Pa. That is the most discouraging — though if it ever happened, it would freak me out so hard.
