How to Play the World’s Largest* Homemade Synthesizer

First you have to get friendly with MIT associate professor Joe Paradiso, who has a sort of 1990s-Robert-De-Niro thing going on, and then you have to stand in the rainbow spiderwebs and press a bunch of buttons, not to get too technical. (More here.) The synth — officially the Massive Modular Synth — also gives off a perpetual audio feed that Paradiso changes up every few weeks. It’s beepy!
