Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver), “Bruised Orange (Chain of Sorrow)”

The third single off Justin Vernon and co’s second studio album, the lovely Bon Iver (still streamable here, buyable here), will be the relatively jaunty “Towers,” and it’ll be released on vinyl on January 23. Its B-side, however, will be this, a cover of folk singer John Prine’s 1980 track from his album of the same name. The above version appeared on the 2010 John Prine tribute album Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine, and is credited to Justin Vernon alone, but the updated version will be by the whole Bon Iver team. Enjoy!
