 — Artist Carrie M. Becker imagines a world in which Barbie is a hoarder, and her Dreamhouse is more like some of the homes we see on television. (You can almost make out the tiny raft of Post It notes on her computer screen.) The project, which is viewable in its entirety on Flickr, will also be exhibited at the Riney Fine Arts Center Gallery at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, in September 2012. Barbie is “now accepting applications for a maid!” Becker says, but does not mention where they should be sent.
