Good morning! To quote the music blog Mixtape Maestro, with this track the rising R&B; star Elle Varner “not only further solidifies herself as ‘One 2 Watch’ in 2012, she basically sounds like she’s about to own the damn year in female R&B.;” (There was also the bluegrass-sampling (!) “Refill,” and the J.Cole collaboration “Only Wanna Give It to You.”) Elle’s debut album Perfectly Imperfect is due out in 2012, and if you want a free MP3 of “Sound Proof Room” to play on repeat for the next 15 minutes, This Goes In has that. I think the room needs to be quiet because they’re recording music in it??
