The Rise of Lana Del Rey

By now you’ve all probably heard Lizzy Grant a.k.a. Lana Del Rey’s sultry, lovely song “Video Games” (and seen the YouTube-friendly homemade original video that’s since been replaced with an official homemade video), so if you’re interested in learning more about the 24-year-old lady with the lip, she has a charming interview over on Pitchfork, where they also reference some of her older, less appealing stuff, like the gratingly pouty “Kinda Outta Luck” (above). (In the featured pic on Pitchfork she also looks a bit like Evangeline Lilly, no?)
