Lean Cuisine-A-Day: Roasted Turkey and Vegetables
Have you been longing for someone to try all the Lean Cuisines there are and tell you which ones are the good ones or whether those panini ones actually get all toasty in a microwave? Hey! Starting today, I’m your gal. First up? Roasted Turkey and Vegetables, which is described in further detail as: “roasted turkey tenderloins and gravy, green beans with cranberries and slivered almonds” and comes from their “Comfort Cuisine” collection. (I guess they have “collections”?) I am very much into gravy and cranberries. Plus, it looks pretty decent on the box. So, how was it?
Pretty good! A little salty, but overall not bad. I’m going to throw dried cranberries and/or almonds in more vegetables. The chicken turkey tasted like chicken which is fine because I love chicken. Gravy = gravy (in other words, “awesome”). The trick is that when you get ready to eat it, put all the veggies over on the turkey side so they soak up more of the gravy. It was so good or I was so starved I forgot to take a picture until I was almost done.
When you’re finished, drink whatever gravy is left. Let it sit on your desk for a while first, which is what I did. Next up: Steak Tips Portabello.
