Wow, This Is Some Weird Journalism

The New York Times piece on the MLK Jr. Memorial? Two standouts:
1. The title: “A Dream Fulfilled, Martin Luther King Memorial Opens.” Famous dream metaphor: best when not applied to posthumous physical memorials.
2. The first sentence: “Now we know: The arc of the moral universe is long, but it leads to a picturesque glade beside the Tidal Basin, with the Washington Monument providing sentry.” Seriously?
