Tiny House-tigue and the Tiny House Movie

This adorable young man lives in a tiny house where, as he says, “I don’t have running water, but I like to say I have walking water.” Aw. (What’s with the uncomfortably lingering camera shots, though, and who is he hugging at 3:20??) But are you sick of tiny houses, or are you sick of tiny house “tours” that don’t show the bedroom or the bathroom or basically anything except, what, the walls and the windows and a stove, and parts of the kitchen? Who’s behind this garbage? The answer is: the people making TINY: A Story About Living Small, a documentary about tiny houses. It looks OK, if a little too heavy on the building-and-construction part and not heavy enough on the “fitting tidy things into little places and I am in control” part. Show us where he sleeps! Show us him sleeping, at night, with infrared cameras.
