Austin Karaoke Pin-up: September 9

Save the date! Beloved blog commenter wee_ramekin shares the following:

What: Amazing night of karaoke awesomeness with the Most Fabulous Ladies in Austin
When: September 9th, 9 pm
Where: The Highball, Tiki Lounge room
How: I reserved the largest room, but it still has a 24-person limit, so please e-mail [email protected] to RSVP. Attendance is first-come, first-served. We’re limiting attendance to Pinners-only at first; if we don’t get interest from 24 Pinners, we’ll open the guest-list up to +1s. If we have more than 24 Pinners interested, we can probably rent another room and cross-Pinllinate.

The room costs $50 an hour. If we fill up the room, that’s $2 per person per hour. Even if there’s only ten of us, that’s still only $5 an hour for awesome karaoke. Please bring cash so that it’s easy to pay the piper, as it were.

According to the website, the karaoke room will have “…a dedicated server who can supply you with all the liquid courage (and snacks) needed.”

COME EVEN IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SING!!! There will be plenty of socializing and analyzation of texts going on, so even Pinners who don’t feel comfortable singing should definitely RSVP!
