People keep dying at Kipu Falls, a swimming hole in Hawaii famous for its rope swing and pretty water, because it also seems to have a hidden whirlpool that sucks people to their deaths. Those who’ve evaded the secret current either live to enjoy their time there, or have gotten swimming hole-related “chest injuries, rope burns, perforated eardrums and broken and sprained ankles,” and a teenage girl was recently paralyzed.
