NOVI, “Blackbirds”

The lyrics are hit-or-miss (and the rap interlude is … its own thing), but this is otherwise a very catchy electro-pop song [that’s available on iTunes for 99 cents]. NOVI, a.k.a. Carolyne Neuman, is an Oregon-born, LA-based musician whose first EP, Now I’m Here, is due out in the fall. She hates to smile and has no friends.
