Height and Cancer

A woman’s chances of developing cancer rose by 16% for every extra 10cm (4in) in height, found the study, which looked at 97,000 women with the disease between 5ft and 5ft 9in tall.

Tall women are apparently more likely to get “breast, bowel, ovarian and skin cancer, leukaemia and malignant melanoma,” among other common types of cancer. Women over 5’9″ may already be dead. No, “Tall people should not be alarmed by these results.”
