Who Says “I Love You” First?
Everyone says I love you eventually (even if it’s just to their guinea pig Roberta), but did you know that men are usually ready to say it before their ladies are? It’s true, according to a new study.
“While men consider saying ‘I love you’ a full six weeks before their partners, they are also more likely to enjoy hearing those words if they haven’t yet had sex. On the other hand, women are more likely to enjoy hearing
‘I love you’ if sex already has occurred.”
Hmm, what can explain that? Oh, right, it’s that men say it to get women into bed. That old trick! And women say it to establish lasting intimacy. Mars, Venus, etc.
